Discharge

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something like I have. I just went to the bathroom because I felt like my panties were wet like I had peed a little. When I went to check I discovered that I did have plenty of discharge which I know is normal but my panties were also wet and it went through to my pants. It was clear. What could this be????Is this normal???? I am almost 16 weeks.

I am 14 wks and since about 6 wks, I have had discharge.  I even had one that went right through to my pants!  Its scared me but I was not that far along and only had the yolk sac then and it was clear with no foul odor. I did read in one of many many pregancy books that sometimes your vagina will flush out bad bacteria, to help prevent an infection.  I called my nurse at the time and she reassured me that that was probably it.  I eat yogrut everyday to help prevent a yeast infection.  I also read that eating yogrut can help prevent food allergies in babies.  Who knows...another study next week might say the opposite!

I now wear a panty liner during the day but not to sleep in.  I was told to let that "area" air out at night.

Some women wear panty liners while they are preggo because of the amount of discharge.

My OB said this was something that might happen. I wear pads during the day because I get a bit a discharge and it's more prominent if I have a poo/fart or am sick (sorry if TMI).
Today mine looked a bit yellow on the pad but it doesn't smell funny so I'm not worried yet. I will watch it over the next couple of days and see what it's like.

I've had this heavy discharge as one of my pregnancy symptoms. My sister has it to. Sometimes I have to change my panties up to 3 times a day because it is so heavy. I've had a few doctors comment on it when they were examining me. They thought I might have some sort of infection so I was tested for infection. I've come to realize that it's just my body during this pregnancy. My sister has the exact same thing. Not sure why it happens but it's normal for me :)  Hope this reassures you some more...

Just got off the phone with the doctor. She said it was probably just a heavy discharge. I will have to just monitor myself to make sure that it is not a constant leak. (Nothing since this morning) And she said that if it had a sweet smell to it than it would have been amniotic fluid. So I am OK. I will just take it easy for a few days! :)

Have you had an Amino lately?  It could be fluid coming from the sac.
