Ultra Sound 7 weeks

I went for an ultra sound yesterday and there was a heartbeat.    I couldn't believe it.  I grew so much from 5 weeks 6 days to 7 weeks 2 days.   It measured at 10.71 mm and the heartbeat was 147 bpm. My husband and I were so excited.  We go back next Tuesday so we are psyched.   SO my question is.....many people have said this, but from what I found no research backs the theory that girls have a faster heart rates than boys......  Any one have any info?

I heard and read about that too.  Also my mom had 4 girls and she said we all had fast heart beats. Maybe it has some truth to it.  My son's heart beat was mainly in the 120's.

Mine was exactly 140bpm.  Hmmm... !

I too did a ton of look around about this subject but didn't find anything that was reliable.. but glad u saw the little beany ...:)
I am always a bundle of nerves before my U/S...

Everything I read says it is a old wives tail, but I think it is:

above 140 beats per minute - girl
lower heart rate below 140 bpm - boy
