Adrenaline rush concern

When I was 17 I heard tires squealing and knew it was my boyfriends car somehow. I looked up in time to see his car flying sideways on two wheels and watched in horror as he slammed into a telephone pole outside of my friends house. He was upset I had been on vaca all week and was driving way too fast to come get me and lost control of his vehicle.

Now I'm 23 but still every time I hear tires squealing when he isn't home I panic.

I just heard what sounded like hardcore squealing and he should have been home an hour ago and isn't answering his phone.... I drove all through the neighborhood to make sure he wasn't in a ditch somewhere and didn't see anything so I hope he's just stuck at work.....

I am trying to come down off the adrenaline rush this caused and the baby is kicking me way more than usual... Is my little guy gonna be okay? I'm not in pain just a LOT of kicking. Thanks for taking the time to read this and if you respond thank you also

You will find that any emotional response your body has will affect the baby, when I get super stressed out my little bean kicks like mad as if to remind me she is in there and to calm down!
The car incident was obviously a frightening experience and I would be exactly the same! Since finding out that I'm pregnant I am so protective of my partner and terrified of losing him! I'm sure it's normal as our hormones go crazy and we want to protect the ones we love (maternal instincts kicking in)
Hope you feel better soon, and try not to worry anymore xx

Baby will be fine. They will react to our emotions sometimes.
