I lost my mucus plug Saturday morning and then much more yesterday afternoon how soon after loosing your plug did you go into labour? I'm a day overdue now and getting period pains on and off not sure what's going on???

I lost mine a few weeks ago. Started early labor (contractions that are steadily getting stronger, my doctor said that active labor won't be a picnic like early labor) about a week ago. But smallfry is right. There's no telling how long it will be. My mom lost hers a month before I was born and she lost it twice (it can regenerate) with my brother-the second time it came out during birth. She called it a veil I think...

Ok thanks for the comment I'm just getting fed up now and want a cuddle any twinge at all makes me think things are moving along but it's not

Can be hours or even weeks, i hate when people r like u lost ur plug ur baby will be here soon. That sadly.is hardly ever the case. And ur prob.cramping from losing it, drink water and relax :)
