Just venting

I just need to vent a little...   I had my brother-n-law and his girlfriend with their 2 boys and  a couple of our friends over yesterday for a bbq.  Well, my brother-n-law wanted to check out the nursery.  Well, the only thing we have down so far is the hardwood floors and the paint color which is pink. There will be other colors on the wall, but I think it looks great right now.  Ok, so my brother-n-law goes upstairs and looks into the room and yells down to his girlfriend "oh my god the room is so pink you got to see this."  I said  we like it and that all that matters.  Then my brother-n-law's girl friend says I don't want to go up there because it will make me throw up.  I got so mad.  She then goes up and doesn't say anything to me or my DH.  I know she doesn't like pink, but come on you have to be rude about it.  I really try to be nice to her, but she makes these comments all the time and I'm tired of it.

I agree.  She told me that she really wants a girl, so what happens if she does have a daughter and she asks her mother for pink things is she going to be denied because her mother can't look at the color because it makes her feel ill.  GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

I agree!  You should have everyone wear pink toga's at your baby shower lol!  They need to get over themselves!

It is probably jealousy on their part because they have two boys... ANY MOTHER OF A GIRL KNOWS - EVERYTHING IS PINK!!  Everything everyone gives you is pink - and nothing is more frustrating than looking at a baby and wondering if it is a boy or girl.. that is why PINK is for girls and BLUE for Boys.... you can mix the boy colors more.. Red, Grey, Green - but for girls... Everything is PINK.  You should send them a pink envelope with a pink card as a birth announcement!!  Don't mind them.... That is rude!
