My sono tech "guesses" the sex at this u/s she says if its pointing up its usually a boy and if its pointing out its a girl. She was wrong with my first, said she thought it was a boy and she's definitely a girl. This time around the same thing happened, it was pointed up so she thinks a boy, but I'm not thinking much about it since she was wrong the first time. Its true, its too early to tell for sure all babies have something between their legs at this stage! I'm going for a gender scan 2 weeks from monday at 17w1d and I'm hoping this baby cooperates!! the wait is killing me :)

Technically you cant get a reliable gender reading until 16 weeks thats probably why she said she wouldnt check. I'm not really sure as it isnt very clear.  It could be the cord between the legs which is common but the angle is kinda wrong for the cord. It looks too big to be a penis but you never know!
