my last post

So I  came to the emergency room this morning because I started spotting, I thought it was "normal"  like everyone thinks so I left to work. At work I notice it was more so I decided to come to the emergency room. They did all kinds of test the Doctor that "took care of me" just said "oh your not pregnant it must have been a misscarage " can you believe how I felt. I'm torn I don't even know what to think how do I tell my 5 year old that he's not going to be a big brother anymore. He was so exited he was the one to tell the whole world, counting down the days now what do I say. Everything seems so unreal I would've never in a million years thought this could happen to me. Tomorrow I had my appointment for my first ultrasound now wtf do o even go for.

I am so so sorry to hear that... i never miscarried but i did lose my son at two days old from SIDS.. a perfectly healthy baby that they had no idea what happened so they ruled it as SIDS... so i understand how u feel, the things mothers go through... but stay strong and go again without fear...

So sorry to hear. I had a similar experience last year. I miscarried at 8weeks. ER doc was also rude and gave me the news as as matter of fact. He admitted me in though and my gynae and nurses were wonderful with support and care. So you should definitely go in tomorrow and speak to your doc. I was devasted as well. Women are so strong for what we endure in life. All the best, take care of yourself..

The Dr at the Er just told me to follow up with my Dr, I'm still bleeding but I haven't felt any pain. I just did a home pregnancy test n its one line only so negative. I will go tomorrow  to my apt. Thank you lady's for our support.

The same thing happened to me back in August. I was about 8 weeks when I miscarried and I had my appointment for my first ultrasound the next day too. Mine was extremely painful though and Ihad a lot of blood and large blood clots and tissue. Did the doctor in the ER schedule a follow up visit? When they told me I miscarried they automatically set up a follow up visit for me 3 days later to redo the blood tests to make sure I had a complete miscarriage. If I were you I would still go to your appointment tomorrow just to be sure. I'm sorry you have to go through this I know how painful it is.

Go and get a second opinion.  At 8 weeks it sounds like you would have experienced more bleeding and cramping. Sometimes insensitive doctors over look things.  Best wishes.

So sorry for your loss. I went through that a few months ago. You still need to go to the OB tomorrow. They will check to make sure your either passing naturally or if you need a d&c. Sometimes tissue is left behind, they always will check your hcg levels tomorrow. Be safe & go tomorrow. They'll be more understanding than that rude e.r doctor.
