Im 8 days late could i be pregnant?

I took a test it came back negative. Could it be negative because it's too early to tell? I haven't been feeling like myself these last couple of days. I feel sick to my stomach a lot the only thing that helps is sprite. My lower stomach is very tender as well.

Thanks. I'm at the Dr's office now. I've been experiencing a lot of sickness such as morning sickness tho.

Usually tests are very acutrate and can pick up a positive reading a few days before you are due.  I would wait a few days and try another test. If its negative again its likely you arent pregnant. Other factors such a stress can delay your cycle.
