FetaL kick count log... For all the June mommys

There is a special test that you can do to help us check on your baby's health...To do this test, you count your baby's movement each day. This test is a good way to check your baby's health, and it's fun to do...
Here is how to do it:
1. Every day, about one hour after you eat, lie down on your left side.
2. Take a paper to log...when you lie down and write down the time under "start time"
3. While you are resting on your left side, begin to notice your baby movement. Count each separate kick or movement. When your baby has moved 10 times, write down the time again in the log under "stop time" and the test is completed.  The next day you will do the same thing....

Just sharing this ...this paper was given by my ex dr when I was pregnant with my two year old girl..,
This time I wasn't giving any fetal kick count log with my new dr... So I guess not all dr let us now about this...
I'm gonna make one for myself.... =) xxxx
Example:
Month. |.  Date. |. Day. |. Start time.  |.  Stop time. |
04.          22.        Sun.    12:52.           1:14

My lil one will kick non-stop all days and nights, except when I want to do a kick count with my phone app. I think he/she is just messing with me O_o...

With my first daughter she moved all day long w this second girl since 30 weeks she moves only a little. I chalk it up to she's running out of room since I'm huge. My midwife told me she is probley moving more but since its my 2nd my abdominal muscles aren't as tight and I can't feel as much. I think she sleeps alot too.

My doctor said to do lick counts but didn't really get into it.  But he barely ever stops moving... I don't know if it is really necessary because he is moving more than he's not.

My little guy hardly stops moving. Lol. But it worries me too sometimes. My hubby was a very active baby, he moved so much he ended up with the cord wrapped around his neck twice. But my parents keep telling me everything will be fine and not to worry. Oh, and it's been taking me around 5 to 10 minutes for the kick counts. Sometimes though he moves continuously for minutes at a time.

I push on her, I pat her, I drink orange juice and cold stuff, I do the cell phone trick and sometimes I just beg her....still she's just not the hyper type. Her dad's a really laid-back guy and I'm usually laid-back too, so I sorta get the sense she's just being lazy. :)

I would play with my belly button to get her to move  & it worked everytime....(my belly button always pops out when I'm pregnant)

Momabear I also  get an ultrasound at every dr visit =)

Downloaded the kick counter app; it helps a lot. Took me 42 minutes today; I praised her for being a good girl and letting mommy feel her kick. Now I can not worry for tonight at least.

I get ultrasounds every week or two at most; it's the one positive thing about being high-risk. Glad they let me see her or I'd be going insane, really do wish we had a window on our stomachs so we could see what's going on in there. :)

LOL. you're not crazy, you're a mother-to-be. There are a lot of babies that are like that. My first daughter was like that. She would only move a little. Sometimes you can just be so busy that you don't feel the movement. You're lucky to be getting regular ultrasounds, my doctor refuses to do them. I only have my last one coming up on Tuesday, so excited. It's been a while since I've had one.

Fetal kick counts frustrate me, my baby's just not a consistent kicker/mover, at least not so I can feel, so every time I do it (and I do it every day) I end up worrying. But every time I have an ultrasound, which is a lot, she's happily moving and kicking away. I've been having to put my cell phone ringing on my belly to get her to move around enough to get my 10 kicks, but then she goes right back to sleep. I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning, gonna ask again about this but they always act like I'm crazy. :/

This is interesting. I'll try it. I know from my daughter, I downloaded an app and everytime there was a kick or movement, you would click the button and it would record everything. It also had contraction counter and it basically worked the same.
