Glucose Test

Hey everyone. How did you all go with your glucose test? Ive got mine tomorrow. A bit anxious! My mum and sister both had gestational diabetes. So im kind of expecting to also have it. But we'll see :) Hope your all doing well. Im feeling so exhausted and have really bad pain in my tailbone and not really sleeping much. But otherwise im good. Lol.

I spoke too soon. Doctor office called to tell me I fail the one hour. On to the three hours then... :(

I passed my 3-hour test :) yay!! I was a bit nervous!

Got my 1 hour test done last Tuesday. It's be a week and no call from the doctor so I guess I pass? Yay!!!! ^_^

i took mines on the 26 of march & i find out my  results when i go back but i doubt ill have it cause i didnt have it with my first child . But good luck

Mine came back clear, which I'm very thankful for. Was pretty worried about it, I have a strong family history of diabetes so glad that hurdle was passed. :)

my dr did not call me.....
My test was last Saturday.....
That means I pass....

Im going for mine tomorrow im a bit scared cause i hate needles and im getting the anti d shot as well so two needles and that drink not looking forward to it.

Had mine today!it was horrible so much for everyone telling me it was easy. as soon as I finished the drink I was so light headed,shaky and thought I was going to be sick! longest hour of my life hope I don't have to do the 3hour test! hope it went well for u ladies tho.

Oh that would suck! My midwife was rough as with me so my arms a bit black. Its ok if they get it right. My drink tasted like lemonade :)

(March 3rd the one hour)
(March 10 the 3 hour)
  - 8:15am.....draw blood 
Then sweet juice 
     -9:20a.m more blood 
-10:20a.m blood 
    -11:20a.m more blood 
I got home at 11:40a.m 
I was feeling really dizzy 
I thought I was gonna pass out.... 
I couldn't even move my arms...
I have bruises in my arms..

I got stabbed With a needle five times.....

I don't see how your test was painful.  My test was an hour long after I took that orange drink I had to wait 1 hour for them to draw blood...

All done! But I gotta wait two Weeks for my next appointment! She said she will call me if its bad though. Is there any signs to look for if u have gestational diabetes?

I have to go in on Monday for my test. I just hope I don't have to do the 3 hour test the way I had to do with my last daughter. It was not fun at all!!

Mine was good the sugar basically ran through me my number came bk at 80 which was low!! I was also worried since my mom and grandma have adult onset diabetes but i was relieved to have passed!

I just did my 3 hr glucose tolerance test saturday 
it was painful....
I wish you could see my arms.... there all bruised .....
This is not the first time I do a 3 hr glucose tolerance test ...
3rd time :(
I haven't heard anything from my dr yet...
Still a little nervouse and anxious .....I hate feeling this way!!!

I'm in the middle if getting mine right now, I'm pretty nervous because I heard that stress will raise your sugar and I've been beyond stressed out the past couple months. And a lot more the last two weeks. It's been better the past 36 hours though. But still, I don't want to have to go back to do the three hour test :(

We don't have them in the uk unless you have symptoms if diabetes xxxx fingers crossed for you but im sure you will be fine xxxx
