Upcoming scans?

Jan. 12th is my big ultrasound scan, and I'm getting nervous/excited already. I'll be almost 18 weeks, and this one will hopefully tell me the baby's sex, as well as any abnormalities. Anybody else have scans coming up? Have you found out your baby's sex yet?

I go in the 9th I always get worried I have had all my test down for downs and other abnormalites I'm in the clear so far but the early testing was because I'm high risk my nerves get the best of me before every appt I hope to find out the sex then I hear it can be determined is soon as 16 weeks and I'm already there so I'm keeping my fingers crossed good luck I hope everything goes well

I go the 10th for my anatomy scan!! I CANNOT wait i have ants in my pants LOL!! The 4th is my peri-natal specialist appt thats just cervix length check and hb check i doubt they ll look very long to see the sex!! im only paranoid the baby is still ok i cant feel any movement but i have a doppler i use and the hb is pretty easy to find and strong i love hearing it it gives me peace of mind till the appts!!  my belly is definetly gettn bigger thats proof LOL has any1 else felt movement i figured being on the small size i d feel it pretty quick but nope nothing so far!!

I turned down all the early bloodwork, CVS and all that, so this is really my first time to be tested for all the abnormality issues, so very nervous about that. Also resisted the urge to buy a doppler - thought I might get obsessive and figured once the baby moves I'd know he was okay - but I haven't felt him move yet and it's driving me crazy lol.

Do either of you have a preference about boy or girl?

I would be happy either way but my husband has a son from a previous marriage so I think it would be nice to have a girl this round and then we would have one of each but I have a feeling deep down its a baby boy as long as its healthy I'm happy there are good things about both sexes I can look forward to I didn't have a choice on the blood work I had 9 miscarriages over the past 3 years so they drew a ton of blood to see what I needed to carry full term I don't know everyone beliefs but someone was looking out for us because this lil one is healthy so far!

I d love for them to 100% confirm him a lil boy so far its 70% but i dont have a preference im blessed to even be pg i went through 10 yrs of TTC and never once did i have a postive test! LIke bbfuzz... my BF he also has a son from his previous marriage so its prolly a boy like they ve stated but idc im getting my lil miracle and im thrilled for that ive already picked names and themes for both!!

My test is on the 23rd. I am hoping for a girl because I already have a boy, but of course either way I am thrilled. Good luck to everyone!

Sounds like some of you have gone through a lot to get this baby, so I can imagine your excitement. This little one is unexpected, but I've loved the heck out of him/her from the moment that I found out. I don't have any major preference but I have sensed that it's a boy from the beginning, really interested to see if I'm right. But if it's a little girl, I'm just as happy. A happy, healthy child, that's all I want. :)

I read one study that said that 13 out of 18 expecting mothers sense the right sex; seems moms do have some sort of instinct about these things. Good luck, ladies.

I just set my gender scan for Feb 7th. I'm hoping for girl but I will for sure be happy with either or! My EDD just got moved from July 6th to the 3rd too from my first scan.

I got my HB chk today AND my baby decided to be a flasher ITS A BOY!! I  still have my gender scan to get all the measurements but it just went from 70% to 99% he was showing EVERYTHING!!  I m so excited I cant wait it seems winter clothes are still up so prolly wait till spring to get him some clothes but i got his pic frame for the sono today at least!!

went to first doc appt today, it was great I got to hear the hb for the first time. I get my first scan on the 10th and I should find out the sex, cant wait , im hoping for a boy I already have a 2.5 yrold girl, but mostly I just want a happy baby.

My gender scan went great! Yes a boy was still flashing the goods LOL! They checked his heart valves the umbilical cord all his organs the blood flow everything was normal! HB was 143!! So healthy baby! The placenta previa is gone and my cervix hasnt budged still measuring well which makes me relieved!!  They re gonna show me the 3D thing next time that should be neat! How is every1 else scans coming along??
