Officially on leave!

I just clocked off and im officially on maternity leave. I must say im quite proud of myself. Lol. The last two weeks almost killed me but i got there. I can see me being bored by the middle of next week. Lol. Im going to get a massage, get my nails done, get my hair cut and coloured. I'll try and spread that over two weeks. And fingers crossed i dont go over due! Everything is pretty much ready for bub. I think :/ the car seat gets installed next week. My bag is packed. Her clothes are washed. I just have to wash the nappies. And put the nursery stickers on the wall. What have you guys got planned for these last few days/weeks? And what have you done to cure boredom?

Yeah I might even be answering emails in the hospital, some jobs never leave you alone. Tempted to leave my laptop at home just so I can have a little bit of a break, but then how would I play on medhelp lol?

I work from home so I won't be taking leave until I'm going into labor. I have been kind of working part time hours with a lighter workload thru out my pregnancy, not by choice tho. As I'm getting ready for the big day and got super tired in the last weeks or so, that's when every clients all of a sudden need everything done. Even clients who had been in hiding for months now want their project finalize. Really?! It's like they know I'm due soon and want to make sure I work hard til the very end, lol.
Since I can really use the money, I find myself working full time hours again at 36 weeks.
No break for me, might have to bounce back to start working a couple of weeks after delivery. Was hoping to take at least a month off :(
Nothing ever work out the way you plan it.
Story of my life, LOL.

I've been home since 35 weeks and my husband started work a week later lol so I hung out with my son for a couple weeks but my best friend (known her for 10 years) lives next store she has two boys one is 3 (2 weeks older than my son) and one is 2 and she just started working third shift so now I put her kids to bed at my house and spend a lot of the day with them here so she can sleep. I also have been getting everything all together but now that's done and all I have left to do is put the carseat in. So now just keep the house clean

Wow you're tough. I've been home since 31 weeks, although I still work part-time online and will all the way through the summer so I'll never take full maternity leave. I'm used to being home more than the average person so I know how to stay busy. I've already organized the house and the baby's room, so I'm going to spend this last week spoiling myself a little and making sure I have all last-minute errands done.

Clean, clean and clean some more....lol With a 19-mnth-old running around that's all there is to do. I have everything ready, now we're just waiting for baby to get here. I do have my c-section scheduled for the 4th so I just have all next week to go and my baby will be here :)
