I have slept in my recliner once in a while with all four of my pregnancies.  With the first 3 it was because of extreme and constant heartburn but this one I am having the issue of ending up on my back.  I think it helps because you are propped up a bit, technically laying on your back but without the pins and needles to wake u up.  Also, if I am having a restless night, it allows my husband the sleep he needs for his job.  Good luck everyone :)

I usually try to fall asleep sleeping on my side, and if I wake up on my back I just roll myself back to my side and go back to sleep.  I bought one of those really long body pillows for $8 at walmart. It helps because I can cuddle up to it and stick the lower end between my knees so lying on your side is more comfortable.
