is it rude??

Just a little background about me,  I'm 24 expecting my first child,me and the father,8 wks and 5days having a good pregnancy so far just a little pelvic pain and extreme fatigue. I really do not think I am as far as the doctor says. So my question is to those who want to answer how far along are you and when did you conceive?

The 14days after first day of period ovulation thing is a rough estimate based on statistics and averages, eg-according to my midwife i am 9weeks today but if i work it out based on my personal 30/32 day cycle then im about 9and a half, thats still going off ovulating 2weeks after period, i have no idea when i ovulate so its a rough estimate still, so im between 9-10weeks, no idea when i conceived as we had at least once a dayx

Sometimes u may ovulate later then the 14 day mark. And you can implant any where from 7 to 14 days which is why they do a date scan to see your actual due date. Every woman ovulate and implant at different times so going from the first day off ur last period is just a rough guide

It's 40 weeks from the first day of your last period.

According to my calculations I should be 8 weeks the end of this week. I haven't been to a Dr yet and  I'm not sure how you figure when you conceived.
