Does 20 weeks = 5 months ?

I agree, counting weeks is easier but then it'll probably confuse me if people say "huh, how many months is 19w??" lol. I'm just gonna stick with 4m till I hit 20w.

Counting weeks is easier! It's funny before I got pregnant I never knew how people kept track by counting weeks and it always confused me. Now I couldn't imagine keeping track any other way!

Think of it like your birthday. If you're 20 weeks, you're 4 1/2 months. You haven't completed 5 months yet. Just like a month before your birthday you wouldn't bump yourself up to the next age yet.

So what do I tell people when they say how far I am in months??- I'm 18w...will be 19w in two days. When I reach 20w then I say I'm 5months??

You are about halfway through your fifth month - and halfway through your pregnancy, as well.
It's a little awkward to translate from weeks to months because it doesn't come out evenly - 40 weeks is nine months plus one week, not exactly nine and nd DEFINITELY not exactly ten as some say - so I personally count back from my due date and ignore "week 1" in the grand scheme of things. I'm due June 28th, so on January 28th I will have five months to go. Starting January 28th I will BE four months pregnant and be INTO my fifth month.
