URI again, ugh!

I am 12/2 and I am battling my second URI since conception. I am absolutely miserable and don't want to take any medications (I am in nursing school and know the risks for everything). Any suggestions as to how to not feel so miserable but avoid meds, i welcome any organic/chemical free suggestions!!

Oh that's why that word is bleeped out on these posts! I think it is more offensive outside of the US, and perhaps the app is being sensitive to that haha...

I'm sorry! That *****. I'm in nursing school also. The only things I would recommend are humidifier and ginger tea with lemon and honey.. the homemade ginger tea is spicy.. but it's so good! And it might give you some relief.. hopefully it clears up soon. I hate being sick and pregnant.

No I mean URI, upper respiratory infection or more commonly known as the common cold…but they make me absolutely miserable, I can't breathe, my heart will race when I do anything because I can't breathe (just getting up to go to the bathroom), I have a low grade fever and achy. I can't get any relief, not even sleep.

I'm assuming you mean UTI (urine tract infection)?  Drink plenty of cranberry juice (pure not cocktail).  And you need to take an antibiotics like macrobid.  It's perfectly safe to take, but the infection left untreated can turn quite serious and jeopardize your pregnancy.  Totally not worth the risk.
