Yea i have the same thing. My Dr said the baby is good, it's the mom who needs more iron. She said to take a total of 30mg iron aspartate a day. Iron aspartate because it is absorbable  and doesn't cause constipation.  I just got some yesterday and gonna start it today. It takes 6 weeks to get iron levels back on track . It's really no big deal and fairly common problem . Also try eating lots of leafy greens or if u into red meat eat that. I just can't eat red meat personally lol... i was vegan for years. It didn't last tho.

I have to take an additional iron supplement for my low blood count. I know it's hard not to, but don't stress!

It's happened both times with me. It won't affect your baby as your baby will be taking all it needs. It will affect you however, chat with your doctor and I'm sure they will give you all the info and any extra supplements they can offer
