Same here. Full time student, and full time employee. When I get home at 6:30pm the time hubby comes home the last thing I want to do is clean. I usually just want to be with hubby. So my mom has offered to help me out by cleaning. I pay her $20 for the day and she gets to keep my car that day. Its worked pretty well. Also with laundry, I put a load every morning before I go to work and as soon as I come home I put it to dry. Its worked with keeping the clothes clean! (I can't use the dryer cause my husband doesn't like the noise) ughh!

I work two jobs and when I get off, I am way too pooped to do anything...I flop on the couch an  is there til the mid of the night when I wake up and go to my room, lol.My hubby will make sure my son eats when I have real long work days...when I have short days I'm still pooped when I get off but I do at least make sure I cook for the family, plus I'm n school, so gotta have study time too...it's insane...I thought I was the only one!! I see other homes and feel I live like a pig..lol

Pick one thing to clean every day, floors one day, bathroom the next, some jobs will only take 5 minutes and it's done

Hire a cleaning service. It's not as expensive as it may seem. I have a four bedroom, two and half bathroom two sorry house with a full basement and it only cost $75 for them to come and clean...so worth it. There's no contract, so you can have them come whenever you just need that extra help. My girls come monthly now, but that will go to every other week or maybe more when baby comes.

My house is a mess too! Last summer my husband and I moved from a farm with lots of land to a townhome in the city and had to bring our animals with us. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats that I have to take care of and they all live INSIDE! I just wanted you to know that I'm right there with you!! Don't be too hard on yourself!

Invite someone over haha I never clean so quick when I know someone will be there soon! It's hard work but try and just do something little to clean instead of being overwhelmed by it all. I'll clean the kitchen one day and do another room another day. Ask someone to help too :) I always find once the house is clean it's easy to keep on top of just by cleaning up after yourself. Maybe hire someone for the vacuuming and bathroom??
