Accidentally lifted heavy

Yes, it was an accident! I was so excited to see my God Daughter that I haven't seen since her dad moved away that I picked her up and carried her a few steps. Then I realized now she might be over 30 pounds so I put her down. Her dad said she just weighed 42 pounds. Then I started freaking out....! So far nothing and has happened, thank The Lord, but I'm still nervous!

I'm a registered nurse and we're constantly lifting and pulling patients up in bed and off the toilet. I'm only 15 weeks and no issues even being a high risk with uterine scar tissue. Just lift as little as possible and when lifting use proper technique so you don't strain

I have to lift kids constantly since I am a mom of 3 and a daycare provider. My Dr. Said it's fine, and I am high risk.

You will be fine  unless  you  have  complications  and your dr said not to lift. I lift 230 lb men at work (I'm a EMT) and my Dr doesn't see a problem with  my lifting. I would rather  not lift but until I get 7 monthsI have to  :(

I have picked up my step son occasionally and my niece and they probably weigh 40-50 pounds. I stopped doing it, but I did in the beginning before I really thought about the fact I shouldn't be lifting that much! My baby is fine. Just listened to him or her last night on my Doppler!
