risks...

I'm almost 18 wks and haven't been to the Dr. Or taken prenatals. Hopefully in a couple of days I'll buy some prenatals. But is it risky that I haven't done anything to help my baby, honestly this is my first pregnancy and I swear maybe I'm wrong.. But I swear sometimes I can feel poking or butterflies in my tummy, for like 9-10 seconds

Folic acid is recommended for before pregnancy and during the first month. After, too, but if you've missed them this far, oh well. I haven't taken prenatal vitamins for the last two pregnancies, because they give me terrible diarrhea. I'm sure your baby's fine. But you might want to book in for an ultrasound. It gives the Dr good information about your baby and placenta.

I heard prenatal are more for you because baby takes everything it needs first. So your baby is probably ok. I know i havent taken them for most of this pregnancy because i am awful at taking pills.I dont know if this is fact but it is something I heard.

You can take folic acid, you don't need prescription for! Don't worry about prenatal vitamin, indeed it helps the baby during the pregnancy and the folic acid can be important in the early stage, but you can find all these vitamins in the vegetables, milk, cheese, fruits, meat..... There is many women in the world how don't take prenatal and they have a healthy baby! Don't worry, eat healthy, and have a healthy environment and everything will be fine!

I'm 18w 2d and I haven't seen ab ob yet either. Due to insurance reasons but should be having an apt by next week. I saw a doctor to get a referral to an ob but the doctor didn't check on baby only measured my stomach & that was it. I've been taking prenatals since before I was pregnant though & it would be very beneficial for your baby for you to take them. And yes its very possible for you to be feeling movement!

You should definitely have seen a doctor. And what is your reason with not taking a prenatal vitamin? Most women are supposed to take those unless their doctor tells them they don't need to.
