I just wanted to put out an update to my last question about having your gestational sac measure small. For those girls who find this on a search, here are the details and I wish you a better outcome then I . . .
TTC'd for 2 years and was scheduled to see an RE
July 15th - BFP
I had about 2 weeks of pregnancy symptoms, just mostly nauseus (sp?) and very tired. I never had sore boobs or any other symptoms then that. After that all symptoms went away. I was concerned enough that I moved the u/s up to 8/6. There was a hearbeat (133), however I was told my gestational sac measured small. The baby measured 8.4 mm (6w6D) and the sac meausred 9.5 mm (5w0d). I was told I had a 50/50 chance of miscarriage. Tuesday, 8/13 I started spotting brown and had cramping on the left side. The cramping moved down and towards the middle and was uncomfortable when I stood up or went to the bathroom.
I had my second u/s today. They could not find the heartbeat and so our chances of having this baby ended. Because of the spotting I was told I would probably miscarry in the next couple of days. I was given the choice to let my body do it naturally or go in for a D&C. Because it is so close to the weekend, I have opted to see if it will happen naturally in the next day. If not, I am going to schedule the D&C.
I put this post out here, just so people will know my symptoms, but PLEASE do not read too much into yours. Of all the searches of posts I did on this website, I honestly found more good outcomes then bad.
May all of your pregnancies be happy and healthy. For me, I will be taking a break for a while. But I know when we start to TTC again I'll be back on here to visit with all you ladies. You all have been a comfort through the infertility and last several weeks. It's a joy to be part of such a loving (and FUNNY) community.
