OMG CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH WHAT TO TRY NEXT???!!????

Ok who else is expercing what i am . i have and get severe heartburn and its killin me, tums DOESNT work at all.. and i had been on Zantac 150mg for the whole pregancy and it worked mircales. well here in the last week it just stopped working and im suffering again .. what else can i take??? that will work tried alot of things and nothin is workin.. like pecpaid ac. rolaids., tums. omg im so running out of opitions.. someone tell me waht works for them???/

I eat the berry flavored tums. 2 works for me. I don't normally get heartburn, but that is what works for me in a minute.

You can try milk.

If it persists, I would contact your dr. Have you mentioned it to them?

I HATE milk but it does help.... UGH i feel for ya.... I NEVER get heartburn either, only when preggo and MAN does it hurt! Hope ya feel better

I am not into taking "drugs" (haha... that sounds bad), so I try to go the natural route first.  Here is what I use when I am having heartburn...

1 tbsp. baking soda mixed with an 8 oz. glass of WARM water (reaaaally helps if it is warm)

Because heartburn is an acid and baking soda is a base, it instantly neutralizes it.  It really doesn't taste that great, but I "chug" it.  Give that a try... hopefully that will if nothing else, give you instant relief while you wait for Pepcid or whatever to take effect.

the funny thing ahout it all is i never get heartburn only when im preggo do i get it and get it bad,,,,, stuff *****...lol.... and the sad thing about it all is all my kids still come out BALD. hahhahahah thanks for the site though...... ill see what they have onthere to see if there is something else that i can try ....

I get really bad acid reflux but tums works for me...I don't know about heartburn. I think that the Walmart brand (Equate) of Tums works waaay better than actual Tums do. I don't know why...Before pregnancy I would get heartburn and I would take Pepcid AC. I don't know if you can take it though pregnant?? Sorry...I wish I could help. You can run all of your drugs through www.safefetus.com to see if it is safe to take during pregnancy though.
