Snack Ideas for Bday party????

So....what are you serving for snacks at the bday party? I want to have things that are baby friendly too. I might just have to have separate snacks but I would love some ideas if you guys know of a snack that would work for both adults and babies! Obviously I want non-messy...or low mess! :)

Besides the obligatory cake and ice cream we are having a bunch of finger foods. Our place is too small for everyone to sit and have food at a table...there will be 8 of us not counting Jack.

Here is what is on the menu...

I bought a cookie cutter in the shape of a duck (the overall theme) and will make aptly shaped pb&j, cream cheese and jelly, cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches; cheese and crackers, fruit plate, veggie plate, specially colored m&ms, & chips and dip. We are doing the party from 1-4 so I figured that should be enough to replace a lunch for the day...I hope. :)

Well... we it has been raining at lot (which means like 5 or 6 times a month out here!  haha) so who knows... it could rain on the 6th.  Guess we will see!

I am totally with you on the RSVP thing.  Only our family and one of our friends has RSVP.  I have resorted to just asking friends when I see them out or at the park or whatever.  I feel awkward, but hey... I need to know how many guests are coming!  A dying courtesy it is indeed.

I am sooo jealous that you can have a party outdoors!!! :( We won't be that lucky. It is suppose to snow off and on this week so I am not too hopeful for next week!
We could potentially have anywhere from 20-50 people, I have no way of knowing. I put on the invites that they should RSVP but for some reason that is a dying courtesy. :(

Here is what we are doing...

Sub Sandwich (just ordering it)
pasta salad w/ chopped up veggies (baby & adult friendly)
slices of canteloupe (baby & adult friendly)
chips
cup cakes & ice cream of course!

We are having roughly 45 people (yes... seriously.  I have no idea how it got so outta control!  lol) and we will probably end up doing it at our neighborhood park so I really didn't want to get too crazy with food.  But, the pasta salad and slices of canteloupe would totally work for both.

We are doing sloppy joes, homemade mac/cheese, veggie tray, fruit tray, cheese and sausage/crackers, and we are having quite a few kids, so I may make some hot dogs for them.  I don't know how many will like the sloppy joes.  And cake and ice cream, of course.  I figure with the fruits and veggies, everyone will find something they like.  We're having about 30 people, so I wanted it to be easier on us!  Brock is one of the youngest, so the rest eat pretty much everything.  Juice boxes for the kids too.  That's about it!  I can't wait!  I'm so glad he's feeling better, so he can enjoy it!  I am hoping for a stellar morning nap, so he doesn't need to miss much of his party!

We are just doing cake and ice cream. We have 21 (all but 6 are immediate family)people coming and that was just too much to try and work with, especially seeing we are having it at my mother in laws house (our place just can't fit that many people). So cake, ice cream and beverages.

How about a fruit tray with a sweetened fruit dip, cheese and crackers...general nibble foods?
