I am trying to get ready little by little we just got relocated to a new duty station and our apartment won't be ready till Feb 1, and then I have very bad pelvic pain to the point  that sometime I can't get out of bed so it is very hard for me to get around, so I am going to try and go out this weekend and get some shopping done Good Luck to everyone

I am getting a c-section, so  I already ordered my binder ( i don't like the ones at the hospital), bought a nursing nightgown, have some baby clothes, lanolin, breast pads, etc.. I am not going to pack until 2 weeks before my due date, and I will do it slowly.

well im basically still waiting for my work to throw me my 2nd baby shower before i go all crazy and wash everything. and i dont want to buy stuff either just incase i get doubles.. and i have to wait until feb 11th so that will leave me a little over a month to get all the rest of the things i need. the only thing i really have for me that ill be using when the babies born is nursing pads. i need them now because of the leaking. woo. im thinking about just wearing the hospital gowns, i dont really see a point in bringing my own, maybe just clothes for the ride home, and some snacks for DH and i.
ill probably wait til the last minute to buy nursing bras. but since im going to be home with the baby for a few weeks i doubt i'll need then until i go back to work and to the real world again lol.

yeah me too i haven't packed the babies bag cause my mom is knitting her a dress and a hat and a blanket to match, being that she lives in Orlando it will have to wait until sh gets here. I bought two pj's cause i don't like the ones they give you in hospital. i also bought breast pads and some nursing bras. i have to buy a breast shield just in case i need it and i bought a cream for the nipples just in case. other than that i will pack the essentials like deodorant, toothbrush, socks, slippers, ect.

Well, I have washed and put away all of the babys clothes, blankets, bibs, burp rags. I have started packing for my hopsital bag but babys bag is already done. Because we will still have snow on the ground I made sure he had a nice warm hat and blanket, and going home outfit. we still need a few things like new nipples for the bottles, some nuks, socks and because we are having another boy I need to make and get Vaseline and gauze. I just today wash down his carseat and washed the liner as it has been sitting in the basement for year and half now.....

Mommyin10- you are more then welcome to wear there nightgowns, but I always feel better in my own Pjs, Well, thats all I pack!! LOL I love my Pjs and no need to dress up for anyone!

Please let me know what you consider essentials. I'm on strict bedrest, so I'm not able to enjoy the whole "getting ready" part ;) Are the nightgowns for your hospital stay after your baby is born? Thanks! :)
