I have 2 children and this little one due on March 13th. I did use bumper pads with both of my previous kids. I never had a problem. Its funny how they sell them everywhere but you are supposedly not suppoed to use them. I really liked using one with my little ones. I also used a positioner. I know there are some recalls on them but I think 1 baby has died out of like a billion who have used one. My opinion is that its more risky to put your baby in a moving vehicle than to use a bumper pad or positioner. I totaly respect both sides of it though
