I was originally due February 7th (based on my last period) but when I had an ultrasound done they said I would be due March 2nd. Now they are saying he is measuring 2 weeks early. I have no clue when he'll be here! But I already have the car seat in and bags packed in the car. Me and Baby's daddy is ready to go when baby decides he's ready!
I know the exact feeling you're dealing with... I was told at my 10 week appointment that my due date is 15.03.2015. At my 14 week appointment, my doctor said that my baby was measuring almost 2 weeks bigger but said he wasn't going to change my due date. Every appointment I have had since then, he says the same thing. I am currently 33+5 according to my due date. But I'm at a loss when it comes to trying to prepare for anything.
I'm am huge, people always ask am I having twins, your size doesn't matter. Because you have irregular cycles your.u/s is most likely more accurate. People tell me all the time I won't even make it to the date of my C-section because I'm all baby and so big, but that is opinion not science because my baby is measuring on time.
If your baby comes early I hope its not too early. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Due dates are just estimates. It's really more like a due month because we are considered full term from 37-42 weeks. Just be prepared in case your baby comes at the end of February.
Since I am going to deliver in India. N took my first ultrasound in US doctors in India r calculating the due date only based on date given from US. So I m confused.
Same here. My baby boy is measuring 5wks ahead and I am due March 23 but he is already weighing in between 5 and 6 pounds. So I think I am going to come early. but my doctor has not said anything about him measuring big as a concern so I guess it is going to be a wait and see on when he is going to come.
They will usually go off of how the baby is growing. At this point, if they are still saying the 20th, it's most likely going to be around the 20th. It's just an estimate anyway. But I'd have things ready just in case the baby comes earlier
