Get a new dr. You should be supported through the pregnancy and especially leading up to the birth.  You are stronger that you think so don't let her put you off. Best of luck x

You need a new dr ASAP no one is excited about labour, it's normal to be scared but unless there is a medical reason you will be able to have a natural birth, your dr is being lazy, a csection is easier for your dr but it's not for you, you can do it, don't back down and have some faith in yourself and your body, good luck

Actually in the beginning of my prwgnancy I told her that I will go for elective. But later on when my relatives and friends explain me the advantage of normal delivery. I thought to go for it. Now wen I have only 32days left she is telling me to ho for elective . She is telling that she is 100% sure I will create a fuss and at that moment I might have to wait even if I ask for C-section because emergency cases will get the preference. So even if I have 1%  doubt I shld go for c- section. Now m getting scared again. I don't want to go for forcep. And she thinks I might get into that condition..  till now I don't have any complication. 9th I hv my ultrasound and then again I hv to visit her by that time I hv to tell her clearly wat I want if report shows everything normal.

Dr is saying that is @ the time of viginal birth u start screaming for C-section that v will not b able to do it immediately. V will gv preference to emergency case for operation. That tym u cannot blame us that v r being rude to u..

C-sections are only for emergencies, not b/c Dr. thinks you'll not be able to handle delivery and throw a tantrum. I agree with another post, get a second opinion.

Also, c-sections are the last intervention after others have been tried. You need a supportive team with you during labor that will cheer you on and tell you how you can do it. This Dr. doesn't sound supportive. I know it's close to the end, but ittmay be helpful to find another Dr. We are made to give birth. Your Dr. needs to be telling you how strong you are and how capable you are to give birth. Not scaring you into a c-section.

You should not be pressured to do anything you are not comfortable with. If its not an emergency and u don't want a c-section don't do. If there is nothing wrong that can harm you or your baby go the route you feel is best.... I wish you the best

C-section should be only if needed to keep you and baby safe, is what my obgyn said to me. I feel the same way, if you aren't able to progress during labor and it is needed then That's one thing. I would get a second opinion, to be on the safe side. Good luck.

Why elective section? That doesn't make sense.... Do you have any medical issues
