sore at top of belly

Last week or so I started getting an achy feeling in one particular spot up the top of my belly if I stood for too long. Like bak ache but at top of tummy. Spoke to midwife bout it and she suggested it may b braxton hicks but im 90% sure its not. Then jus starting this week if ive bent over, sneezed or coughed that same area gives me pain. Finding it real weird as its the same spot everytime but ther is never any limbs ther and its not where my ribs r or anything else that I cud think of.......anyone else?? Im 39+2

So strange. I find it frustrating to talk to my midwife about this kind of stuff as ive not reali had any issues or discomfort during my pregnancy and onli bring stuff up wen im concerned. Then wen I do ahe tells me its something that im certain its not.

I know what you mean. I have been having a pain right at the top of my belly for a few weeks now, I'm 38 weeks now. I only really feel it when I sit though.

39 weeks and I've had the same discomfort off and one for the last 2 weeks.  I have to take frequent breaks when this happens.

Sometimes I feel a pain just under my ribs--kind of like a stitch in my side after running.   I figured it was a foot though.  We're almost there!!!

I've had this too at the top left side of my stomach. For me though it does feel like a muscle stretch. It gets worse as the day progresses but once I lay down I'm okay.

I've had a similar pain for the past 4 weeks, I'm 38 weeks. Mine is right at the top of my belly, almost between my ribs but lower. My doctor said it was normal stretching of the muscles. Idk what is it really, but it hurts! I use an ice pack, it helps a lot. Maybe try that!
