Yes. I had the same experience last week. Pray that you start progressing. I sat on the birth ball as much as I possibly could to try and get my baby to drop but she was not moved by any attempts! It's the same thing that happened with my first and my mom had a very similar experience. Some bodies just aren't built to push a baby out. This was my second and last c-section. If that is the route that needs to be taken it will end up just fine. You will heal and love your baby just the same. You are in my prayers!
Get up and walk up and down stairs or around the hospital, if you just sit or lie down in bed your body won't progess, I wish someone told me that when I was induced, as soon as I started really moving around the baby was out a few hours later, it was so painful to move but I will be worth it, good luck
I had 24 hours of labor Including 2 hours of pushing before getting my c section. Wish I had gotten it before the labor! It really isn't bad at all. I'm 13 days and can only feel it if I touch my incision. Worst part is the first 24-36 hours because you can't get up so baby has to be handed to you but after that it is fine you bounce back quick. I only used pain meds the first 2 days. After that didn't even use advil. Don't worry, it really isn't bad I was scared too but my body just couldn't push the baby out. She was 9lbs and had the cord around her neck pulling her back in. I'm glad I got a c section, it's no big thing. Good luck
I went throught the same situation a few days ago and I was feeling the exact same way 41+3 I couldn't walk around I was in labor for 24hrs and only dilated to a four so ended up in a c section but its not as bad as I thought and I feel baby and its only been two days good luck !! And stay calm
