My baby was SHY around his daddy. Absolutely wouldn't kick if he knew he was around. It took him about 3 weeks, but finally he started kicking for him and now he follows his hand. :3 my little one loves his daddy's voice. Now we're working on Nana. That one is hard since my mom gets so excited and starts squealing. He instantly wiggles to the farthest back place he can go when he hears her. Haha!

My baby usually stops kicking too when my husband tries to feel. My husband also presses much harder than me.

I don't know but I noticed DH presses on my belly a lot harder than I do when I tell him to feel a kick. Maybe it's a different feel for baby? I read they get used to voices in utero so maybe touch too? When my first was born he already seemed used to our dog's alarm bark! Never flinched. Lol.
