kiki: Aldomet...never heard of it.
krushing what meds did they put you on?
Yeah, and I'm thankful they are being cautious, because pre-eclampsia is some dangerous stuff!
I have that white coat syndrome! I don't care if I'm going for a check up or just a chat, I get nervous. I don't know why they can't do all the routine stuff towards the end...
It's slightly above normal so they are just airing on the side of caution, which is good! If you're anything like me though I have white coat syndrome and mine goes up whenever I go in the office, but if I have it checked at the end of the visit when I'm at ease with everything it's perfectly normal. I wouldn't worry every effort made is to safe guard you and the babs, they are always over cautious!
Well, for the last 2 visits, it's been 140s over 90s. Then they get me in the room and laying on my side and it always goes down. I always thought it was because I had my u/s before taking blood pressure and I was just nervous from the u/s (Reece's size). Well, no u/s today and it was 142/94. Got in the room and it was 134/74.
what was your blood pressure?
sorry to hear that but good that they are catching it now and doing something before it becomes a problem!
I'm sorry to here they are concerned about your blood pressure :( Hopefully the medicine will help and you won't have to worry about being a reall issue. Good luck and i'll be sure to keep you in my parayers!!
Thanks girls! My bp isn't that high, just a little elevated, so I'm hoping this medication will help and nothing more will come from it.
Oh my dear, that *****! But ly mommy said, good thing they can keep an eye on it now rather then when Reece comes to the world. I'll be praying for you so things can change.
OH, I'm sorry to hear about the blood pressure... good thing they are noticing it now before symptoms!! Keep us updated... I'll be praying for you.
