It" your uterus stretching making room for baby, as long as they are not real sharp doubling you over kinda pains, mild A/F cramps is ok,If you see blood accompaning call your DR. ASAP.

I've been having some cramps as well....they are very mild and occasional.  From what I've read  they can be quite normal in the early weeks and it's more of a concern if they intensify and of course if there is bleeding as well.  All the best! -- Maggie

Hello! I am 5 weeks pregnant and i've been having cramping for 3 weeks now. My doctor did an ultrasound at 4 weeks (last week) but couldn't find anything in my uterus, so they are assuming its an ectopic pregnancy. However its way too early to tell. They're doing another ultrasound this week, but they checked my HCG levels and they were at 904 last week... its a good sign that they are rising as normal. I am very hopeful, and you should be very positive about it because even little worrying can cause bad things to happen. If there is no bleeding, it could be implantation or it could be cysts on the ovaries. Either way you should call your doctor right away if your having any amount of pain and ask them what they would advise you to do. Make sure they are checking your HCG levels to make sure they are rising as normal and please stay calm. I am sure everything will be fine. With both you AND me. :)
