Addy had her 2 month shots :(
OK so my poor boog had to get shots today :( She did really well, I cried more than her. It was so sad b/c after her initial scream, I picked her up and she quit crying but looked up at me with those puppy eyes and just started whimpering! It killed me. I could only hug her closer.
On the bright side... She is 11 pounds!!!!!! I could not believe it my litle boog is finally in the 50th percentile with weight and height!!!! She is perfect ;) She is already wearing her some of her 3-6 month clothes. I looked at them when I got them thinking she will never fit into these, GEESH... She showed me!!

daniel weighed in at 9lb 11oz yesterday has gained 1lb 7oz since leaving hospital..3 weeks tomorrow
I peirced Addy's hole in the nipples to make it larger, at first I was sceptical, and I paid a fortune for them! LOL But no seriously it saved my sanity, she was so small and getting a belly ache after drinking so much, then came the spitting up, so the cereal saved me, her Dr. even ok'd it. I use the gerber pacies that have kinda a little ball on the end, they worked the best with all the kids.
so far i have tried 3 differant styles of pacifier on Daniel to figure out what he will take and apparently he just is NOT a paci baby... he wont take any of them... he is almost 9 lbs so it isnt that he is real little... although he seems tiny some days and HUGE others..lol
he is eating like a lil piggy... 3 weeks old today and will suck down a 4oz bottle and want more... i think he is too lil to be drinking 6-8 oz at a feeding but what do i do??? i tried putting the tiniest amount of baby cereal in his milk, and it is too thick to go through the holes.. ugh!!!!
hopefully he gets through his growth spurt and calms down just a little bit... he has already gone through almost 4 cans of powder formula and a can of concentrate not to mention whatever breastmilk i am able to give him(roughly 4-6oz a day) so needless to say he is a big eater...lol
sorry for rambling AGAIN... just seems like once i get on a roll there is no stopping...lol

I don't know Addy likes hers, at first where she was so little it was hard for her to keep inbut, she has mastered it now! LOL

When Kyra was born she had to have an EKG, ultrasound, & x-rays done on her heart and they needed her to be very calm, but she didn't want her pacifier so they put sugar water on it to get her to take it. I don't know if it is a good idea to use this tactic all the time, but it seemed to work really well for her. She really never wanted it after that, but i am ok with it b/c it is one less thing to break her of later down the road.

so glad Addy is doing so well... i still have a month or so before i have to worry about shots but i know that the time will come on VERY quickly... YES kiki tylenol is key, i picked up 2 bottles of it before i had Daniel cause i just KNEW i would need them... that and gas drops... lol
Daniel is eating constantly... seems like he is going through 4-6 oz every 2-3 hours... which i know is closer to 4 hours or more but still seems like he is always eating... i make 4 oz at a time and then have to make more... sometimes he finishes the other 2-4 oz other times it gets wasted....but he wont take a pacifier (any ideas on HOW to get him to take one??) and so anytime he wants to suck he wants a bottle... UGH!!!!!

FYI ladies make sure you have Tylenol when they get their shots, it's been 24 hours Addy still has a low grade fever, poor boog!
Thats great that she is growing so well!! She was so little in the beginning i can't believe she is wearing 3-6 months already. Kyra hasn't grown much and is still in newborn diapers and clothes, but i think she may be hitting a growth spurt very soon because she has gone from eating every 3-4 hours to about every 2 hours. I am really worried about going for her shots her in a couple weeks. I am going to be a mess!! Kyra does the whimpeing all the time and it just breaks my heart when she does it!! I am glad to hear Addy is doing so well!!
