Appt. Update

Hey ladies, I went for my appointment today.  She is still head down and I'm almost 2cm.  He did the strep b test(i think that's what is called) and he is not sending me for an ultrasound just yet.  It was a good appointment. I also got Zantac for the terrible heartburn that I have been getting lately.

thanks mandy... it has been hard at times, but i do know it was for the best. i have uploaded pics of the last u/s (4/8/09) well the doc really wants to take baby June 1st and although it is a little selfish i kinda want to NOT have a child on that date. it was my maternal grandmother's bday and she was a nasty hateful woman. even though she is gone now, i would hate for my child to share a bday with her.  not only that but if i have the child on june 5 that would mean that i would still be in hospital when my youngest sons father/grandmother comes up to get him for the summer. and i would like to have at least a week with the kids all together before having to take my son to be gone for 11-12 weeks... unless the coming court date changes it...lol but will get into that another time. lmao

that's my birthday joyce... good day to have her/him?  Hope everything is ok with you, I was sorry to hear about what's happened with your boyfriend, but it may be for the best!! As one door closes another one opens.. well at least that's what they say!!

not too sure mandy... i am looking at the possiblity of them taking this little one May 29th... i sure hope so.. i dont really want to wait til 2 days before my due date. lol

I bet I'll be the last may baby... always so late!!  I'm so happy everyone is making noises like things are moving forward, I just hope that things are different for me this time and I go into labour naturally!!

mommy2b- me too!! hopefully we get some news like that soon! I wonder who will have the last may baby? We should bring our due dates up again and keep a tally. maybe i'll go look for the old post

OOOOOHHH 2cm. that's a good sign, I never dialated early with my boys, the day b4 I had Trevor I was at 0. My Dr. still is being leary of checking me, he says Mon. we will see. He is afraid to make the contractions worse. Thank Goodness Sunday I will be 36 weeks and he can have the green light to GO!!!

I think we are on opposite sides here :)  You want her out and i am praying she stays in a little longer!!  Yeah i'm still on bedrest, but i know its for the best so i am trying to stay positive about it all.  There was still no change in my cervix as of today so i am pretty happy about that!!  So are you seeing your dr. every week now?  I hope you keep getting good news about your progression if you are!!

Jen- Wow thats great that you are dialated and i am sure you are very excited about that!!  Very happy to hear that you had a good appt!!
