Sleep

Hi everyone-
I am new to all of this, but i hope someone can help me out a little bit.  This is my first prgnancy and everything has been going perfectly.  I am 21 wks 2 days and i feel like i am always exhausted, but have a hard time sleeping at night.  I can fall asleep first thing, but when i get up in the middle of the night i have a hard time falling back to sleep.  Any suggestions or am i just going to have to deal with it??

Mine was applesauce, warmed a little, it killed 2 birds with one stone, It helped me get back to sleep and it helped with my dreaded constipation I have been fighting with for the past 5 months! LOL That thank goodness has almost subsided.

I use a pregancy pillow and it helps getting comfortbable. as far as the waking up which i do at 3am like clockwork. i find having a bowl of cereal or glass of millk helps. you could try a cup of pregnacny tea too.

Same here at 23 weeks, the preggo pillow does help with my comfort, but my problem is around 3 am my little one like to let me know she is awake! REPEATADLY! LOL It will only get worse, If it gets too bad to where you are not getting enough rest your Dr. can give you somthing, even a Tylenol PM a couple times a week is ok.

I'm right there with you...I'm 21w4d.  I don't have any problems going to sleep, as I'm usually exhausted by bedtime.  But, then I find I toss back and forth from side to side and when I get up to pee it's SO hard going back to sleep.  I've tried pillows and start off great with them, but then they end up usually on top of my husband or thrown off into the floor.  I think we are just going to have to deal with it and from what I've heard, it only gets worse come the 3rd trimester.  Let me know if you find anything that helps...
