SICK!!
Hi Ladies-
So I have been sick since the end of last week (Sore thorat and awful cough) and i just can't seem to kick it. My DH wants me to go to the doctor, but i am not sure who i should go to. I have an appt w/ my OB on Friday for my normal monthly check and glucose testing, so should i just talk to her about it or should i make an appointment with my normal Dr. Also, I am being kind of stubborn about going b/c is there anything that they can even really do for me at this point? Any advise would really be apprecaited b/c i am soooo tired of feeling this way!

Thanks for all the help...I talked to my OB this am and she wants to me see my general practioner, but i can't afford to take anymore time off of work. So that leaves me with very limited options. I am going to try to get to Prompt Care after work i guess, I just hate having to do anything after work i just want to go home and get in my PJ's!! Sorry for complaining, but hopefully i can get something figured out so i don't feel quite so crappy...That is besides for all of the other wonderful effects of pregnancy :)

this may help a little but there are some over the counter meds you can take my doctor told me about, and also z-pac but that made me ill... lol

Bless you! Just the straight up crud and flu is going around here. And I'm trying my best not to get any of it. DH called me today and said he's not feeling well...so I'm afraid it's about to hit us. Go through your OB, they know what is safe for you and baby! I hope you get some relief soon!
I see my OB for anything. They are who specializes. I had to go to the dentist, and they even called my ob for meds, and concent!
You can definately take medicine right now, you being completely miserable is not a good thing. You can take several OTC cold medicines. Call you Dr. now and they should give you a list. I got a list of approved medications in my 1st trimester. Mommy needs to be well to keep baby well! Good luck honey!

aww poor you! ive been so lucky i havint had anything so far and the weather has been terrible and even DF has been sick but still nout! but im like you when i am ill it ***** but i just kinda get on with it, i hate to take medication even if it is safe, but its upto you, if you feel that bad go see your Doc but if you can hang on it might just go! hopefully!!
