Totally OT.. but I'm So freaking excited!
My best freind is Finally gonna have a baby!!! She is 30 and this is her first, she has tried for a long time and just gave up and thought it was meant for her to not be a mommy just a good auntie!!!
She has PCOS so it's just a mess to try to track her cycles, she takes a test every 2 months or so just to be on the safe side! Last night it was positive! We don't have a clue how far though b/c it's been 4 months since her last cycle. My guess is 6-8 weeks!
I'm a hormonal mess and can't stop thinking of how close the kids will be and hopefully they will always be freinds as well! We have been best freinds for 18 yrs!

Keisha, I know you're sad, I am so sorry for your friend. I know they are heartbroken right now.
But please take care of yourself during this time, your blood pressure is worrying me and you need to rest this evening,,, NO WORRIES, my dear friend. Hold on until tomorrow, and you'll have your beautiful daughter in your arms.
(Can you tell I'm so emotional myself these days. LOL And I just started taking weekly progesterone injections to prevent preterm labor which i think is putting my own hormones OVER THE TOP!)

Beta results went down, She is in the process of M/C. She is holding up pretty well though, She is trying to just stay excited about Addy, but I know how badly she is aching, I just hope for a quick rebound for her and soon she'll get a sticky bean, Thanks Tarrrah!
keep us updated....hope all goes well for her and maybe she will have a miracle and not have to go through the heartbreak....
The weird thing is they addmitted her to the hospital, b/c now they are saying they are not sure and want to do further testing, So it gave us a little ounce of hope, but I'm still a nurse and I'm looking at the science side of it and I'm a little sceptical, I've never went through anything like this b4 though so I might need to post a couple questions in the fertility, or M/C community to try to get some answers, I'm just so sad for her, but she is doing very well, more mad that they won't let her go home to rest. We'll know more tomorrow after more beta results.
kiki...oh hun so sorry for your friend and the loss... it is hard but as you said at least now she knows she CAN get pregnant. and although she is having a hard time of it, i am sure she is very happy and excited for you to be holding your Addy on tuesday... wow doesnt seem like it is that time already. WOW WOW WOW....lol

We found out this weekend it was ectopic :( Although we are trying to see the bright side of at least you know you can get PG, and she also found out she has a neg. blood type, so she had to get that rogahm (I think) shot. It still stinks, and we've cried for 2 days. It's just hard b/c come Tuesday it will be all happiness about Addy, & I know how devistated she is. Time to stop being a cry baby though, thanks for all of your well wishes.

Thats great that your friend finally gets to be a mommy!!! I have a friend who is having trouble conceiving and i know when she finally gets her BFP i am going to be beyond excited. I hope she has a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Congrats to your friend! I hope things continue to go well for her. I think it's great the kids will be close. I have a niece that will be a year old a month after Reece's estimated due date, so we are looking forward to them being close.
On another note, YAY for you!!!! Getting that bag packed...you are ready to go...time is flying and it's right around the corner!
