What position is your baby in?

At my last scan my baby was transverse again, she had briefly turned before that to head down but has gone back again to transverse!  I'm now 31 wks and I think she is still in that position because the movements I feel are on either sides of my stomach and my belly is lob sided.  I am truly worried she will not turn and I will have to have a caesarian, which for me would be too stressful, as I hate hospitals and can't be laid up with 3 other kids to look after as well as a newborn.  I know some of you ladies are going to be having them, but I'm a terrible wimp and the thought of it scares me.  So at the moment what position is your baby in and do you think mine will turn?

thank for the comments ladies, I have been trying the techniques to make her turn such as being on all fours ( cleaning all the wooden floors) but I don't think that has helped so far!  I am at the midwife tuesday so I will ask her if she can tell if she has moved!

lol hkenny..... i have movements all over the place.... but right up above and to the side of my belly button there is always a "lump" i am thinking it is her bottom...lol but i really dont know. i am feeling more stretches than actual kicks the last couple days.... wondering if at 27 weeks if she could be running out of room already????

my last appointment 2 weeks ago she was head down, ( i skipped my thursday app b/c of the snow storm) to be honest i have no idea what position she is in now, i get kicked and can feel her moving all really low. and my belly movements are all low. i dont think i am carrying her very high though. i thought you could tell where the head was b/c its harder than everything else but my belly is just hard all over....

obviously at 18 wks it didnt matter as babies turn all over the place at that point....but at my 18 wk u/s she was transverse and then breech and then head down...lol...it was funny cause i wasnt FEELING her move but i can feel everything now...lol

27 weeks today,,i think she is transverse cause i feel her low in hips/bladder and at sides more than up near ribs at the moment...but even at this point she can easily turn.

mandy i wouldnt really worry too much about it, if baby is transverse it is a little easier for them to turn baby than if he/she was in a definate breech position. i guess you will have to wait and see, but i think there is a good chance of baby turning for you.

Well the good thing with transverse is that there is a really good chance to manually turn them, yes a little uncomfortable but it beats the alternative of having a section.

Although it is less commen bsbies can still turn on their own uo to 37-38 weeks! Try not to worry yourself.

Addy is breech, but I feel her in my mids as well as my ribs and bladder ~ She kicks everywhere! LOL OH and she lays on my right side, I have a crazy lump, DH and I look and laugh at her all the time, I'm deformed! LOL
