The pic didn't work but I put it on my profile, so you can see it there.
Oh...I forgot to add in my note, babies take a while to stretch out completely, about six months, so he may be balled up in the position he was in for a long time /Users/Josh/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals/2004/Elijah Kent Gerstel/100_1208.JPG
This is him right after he was born, I hope this pic shows up...
thanks so much for the info, i was also wondering if your son was born with some kind of crazy leg or frog legs i have heard them called for being in the complete breech postion for so long?
Just got lost on here and ended up on this forum through looking at posts from another subject, and noticed you saying you were breech, and I thought I might look to see if I could offer you any advice. I had my son by c-section because he was complete breech. All you need to know is when they take the baby, you may feel sick and it's nerve rattling when you go into the operating room, there's a lot of people in there with you. BUT it's not all bad, just try to relax and it's over pretty quick. Mine wasn't emergency it was scheduled and it only took ten minutes to get my son out, and then half an hour, if that, to finish before I was headed to recovery. You may be itchy from the spinal medication, and you may get the shakes, it's all normal. Enjoy it. Make sure you bring a camera and get lots of pics! Oh, and don't be alarmed if baby needs oxygen at first, it's harder for the fluid to get out of their lungs since they aren't "squished" out, but that's also normal especially if it's a boy their lungs take longer to develop. My son was born at exactly 39 weeks, and had to be on oxygen for about 12-14 hours. After that he was with me. Take it easy when you get home, I had lots of energy and didn't rest which caused me problems, but other than that...like I said it's not all bad. I'm ttc number two, and hoping for a vaginal birth this time. Good luck and congrats on your baby!
