postpartum bleeding/period

Ok ladies i need some advice or opinions on what my crazy body is doing...So i had postpartum bleeding up until right before Kyra was 5 weeks and she is now 9 weeks.  Well over the past 4 weeks i have had 3 "periods" lasting 4-5 days.  So basically i have been bleeding fo almost  9 weeks straight.  Do you think it could be hormones or should i get my OB involved. I am just a little worried that something didn't heal right and is causing the bleeding.  Any thoughts?

i called my OB's office yesterday and they weren't too concerned...They told me to call back if i was still bleeding in 2 weeks, so i guess we'll just wait and see.

you can bleed upto 12 wks, I did with my last baby and there not periods it's just post bleeding.  It's quite normal to stop and start bleeding, you just have to watch for anemia, which is what I was after the last.

Not sure, mine was back like clock work, I am spotting during ovulation though??? I'm not sure what thats all about, never happened before.

me personally i would call your ob and ask them about this bc i don't think you should have had 3 periods in 4 wks that's crazy! good luck hope all goes well
