strengths of kicks/movement

Anybody noticed movements have changed?  For the past week the kicks and movement don't feel quite as strong, more  like she's wriggling around... hard to describe!!  I was initially worried but she is still moving alot it's just that the power of them has decreased.  And I can tell she still hasn't gone head down as all the movements are in my hips and below my belly button, I am starting to panic she isn't going to change!!

if you push in around belly you can feel things, but I can't make out what it is... like you I'm bigger too, so it is harder joyce to work it all out!

i am 29 weeks now... and i will feel kicks close to pelvic area... it is weird.. and at my hipbones. but will also feel them at belly button level as well as above belly button(near ribs) i think she is transverse.  i have a sore spot to the right of my belly button, will bring it up at my appt on wednesday. it might be baby or maybe since i already have a large incisional hernia i guess i could be developing a umbilical hernia... i really dont know but i DO know that it HURTS from early afternoon til i go to bed... only thing that relieves it is to put pressure on it... and i cant very well wear a binder that high up...lol

how do you feel around to find out where limbs are and such??? i am a bigger woman so not sure if it is possible to feel those myself if i dont know what i am feeling for.

see that's what's happening with me, all my movements are in the pelvis and I often wonder where are her legs, because I don't feel them, but maybe she is doubled over too!  I think she is still transverse but I'm hoping that I might be wrong and she has gone head down... monday I will know!!

Krya's movements have definitley changed over the last few weeks...She is still wiggling like crazy though.  Its just more of a sliding feeling across my belly, even though every now and then she still gets a good kick in there!!  She kicked herself in the head during my scan on Thursday!!
Kenny- I was really worried that she was still head up bc the movement were mainly below my belly button and i thought her head was in my ribs nd i found out thursday that she is right where she needs to be.  She is just has her feet by her head a lot of the time so i'm still getting the strong movements low...Try not worry about it yet and hopefully you'll find out soon where everything is at!!

hkenny ~ Addy has flipped, but her feet are still strait up by her head! So most of her movement is lower as well! Don't worry. I'm just glad she flipped b/c she has finally moved her foot out of my rib! :)

Addy is to the point that no matter what she moves, my whole belly moves with her! I love just to watch, kinda freaks my kids out! LOL

thanks ladies for the great response again!!  I am just starting to become a bit anxious about everything at the moment.  The nearer I get the more I'm becoming worried, probably due to losing the last baby and always feeling like lady luck is never on my side.  I will feel better on monday when I've had the scan and hopefully everything is ok!

hkenny- i wouldnt worry about your little one still being breech she has lots of time to turn, some babies turn around 36weeks, im not sure if its hereditary,i dont think it is, my mum was breech, but when she had my bro & sis they werent but i was.
At some point your midiwfe/dr feels if the baby is head down, im not sure if its at 32weeks or 34weeks.

Yeah ive read movements decrease because of having hardly any room left also!

I feel them a bit less frequently but when she does kick, or move its way harder and more pronouced. Hubby and I can sit for hours and watch my belly move.  At my last appointment ( a month ago b/c i missed one) the dr said she was head down, but all my movements are very low, below my belly button or around it, I am getting worried that she is breech........my brother and I were both breech. Is it hereditary?? I really really do not want a c-section. Is there anyway to tell where her head is in there? I usually feel a hard lump right beide my belly button to the right and sometimes to the left, could it be maybe she is transverse and its her bum and head?

mandy-my book says they will decrease and get less hard b/c they start running out of room so i wouldnt worry as long as you feel some movement.

Wow... my little guy is still pretty active... I am feeling some small pushes down low in my pelvis, and some bigger harder movements up by my ribs and stomach... I can't tell what parts of his body they are at all... I would say that honestly his movements have gotten slower and more deliberate feeling, but still all day long for the most part... but everyone's been telling me they will slow down the farther along we get... I think normal would be ten movements of any kind in any given hour during the day... so if we count at least ten in one hour, then I suppose they are still doing well.

Well, I feel all her kicks/movements under my bra.  Very rarely a feel something below my belly button and when I do i feel them, I feel them at the bottom AND top at the SAME time.  She's been very active in the morning for the past week or so, but today she's calm down a bit.  I feel like if I have a little worm inside. No kicks just wiggiling like you say mandy.
