Dreams about baby's gender

Hello all, I am now 17 weeks and 2 days preggo, yahoo!!!
I was doing some research about pregnancy dreams.
I had a dream the night of conception about a beautiful little girl in pink calling me "Mommy." I saw her smiling face. It was awesome. I haven't had any pregnancy dreams after that.
My question is, have you had a pregnancy dream about the baby's gender and found out later that it's true?
I've been having strong feelings for the past few weeks about my baby being a boy, but I couldn't forget the one dream I had, it was so vivid.
I'm finding out the gender of baby at the end of the month, but just wanted to know your experiences.
Thanks!

I have had some conflicting dreams, but I have had a whole lot of them. Mostly, I dream I am having a boy and in this one dream I was actually breast feeding him and then last night I had a dream that I took a test and the test read it was a girl, but then switched to being a boy.  Overall, it's always a boy, I have a feeling it is a boy but we will see in a couple of weeks!

I think sometimes it could be your mind insisting on what you want, and other times I think it is mothers intuition... I had 2 dreams....

The 1st one was of a little girl... I knew she was coming but it was only to see her for a minute and then she had to go back into my belly... (weird I know) so shes on her way out and I am yelling to my mom "NASAREE IS COMING!" but nobody came. She came out and was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen...
The2nd dream was of a little boy.. I gave birth to him, and the next day he was a toddler... the entire time I am talking to him saying "Son... what is your name?" and he was just all giggles. Everyone kept saying... His name is Nathan. And I kept telling everyone that was impossible because I would never name my son Nathan.

TURNS OUT... IM HAVING A GIRL...!! Just like in the dream I knew who she was from the jump. With my son, I didn't even know his name... mother intuition?

When I first found out I was pregnant, I had a gut feeling it was a girl.  Several family members said they had dreams that I was pregnant with a boy even before they knew we were trying to conceive.  I hadn't had any dreams about a baby until two weeks ago.  I had a dream that I was running after a little boy who looked exactly like my husband.  Went for the ultra sound yesterday and they confirmed it is a boy.

Hello girls!!!
Had my third ultrasound on Dec. 11, sonographer said 70% it's a boy. We both saw what looked a lot like a penis. I'm getting so excited, I've always wanted a boy, but I've heard that sonographers have made mistakes before, so I don't want to confirm it yet!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT NEW YEAR!!! HAVE EXCELLENT PREGNANCIES EVERYONE!!!

I had a dream almost exactly like that!  It was the first dream I had of the baby, at about 12 weeks. I had a dream that I had just given birth and it was a baby girl. Except that I kept calling it HE!  The doctor kept saying "its not a he, that's a girl!" And I remember seeing the baby, and it was definitely a girl, but no matter what, I kept insisting that it was a boy!  I just had my anatomy scan on Friday, and sure enough, BOY!  Every other dream I had, the baby was a girl, but I kept remembering that first, where I was convinced it was a boy!

Thanks for the replies, girls!
Just came from my ultrasound appointment! The sonographer said it looks like it's a boy, but she wasn't 100% sure.
I wouldn't have minded if it's a boy or a girl, as long as baby's healthy!
I guess I'll get some more opinions about baby's gender in my coming ultrasound appointments!

That totally had something like that happen to me with my last pregnancy!! I had been wanting a boy for years & was 100% convinced I was having a boy from the day I got my BFP. Baby Daddy wanted a girl desperately, as did my daughter.

Well, the night before my 16 week sonogram I dreamed that the doctor told me that I was having a girl. In my dream, I told her that it wasn't possible because my baby was a boy. She then told me (in my dream mind you), "Well, it could be a girl." I told her it absolutley could not be a girl because my baby was a boy. My dream went on like that, back & forth for awhile until I woke up. It seemed so crazy that I couldn't even convince myself in a dream that my baby was a girl.

Well, by 2:30pm that next day we found out that I had been right afterall. I don't know if it was maternal instict or just a stubborn mind, but that dream was one of the best parts of my pregnancy. I just know that I'll cherish that dream forever.  :-)
