Is anyone else as sick as me??

Hey ladies!! I'm 22 and pregnant for the first time and I am so sick!! I throw up multiple times per day, and all this throwing up has made me pretty weak and tired. I had to go to the E.D. to get some fluid replacement a few days ago. I'm just wondering if there are any fellow sufferers out there who can sympathize with me!! It is hard for me to feel happy about being pregnant because I am so ill.

Hi Maria, oh you poor thing. It sounds like you have the worst case of m/s. Definitely see a doctor as it is majorly important tht you are hydrated.
I was quite sick for the first 2 weeks since week 6 but TG it eased off slightly. I still find huge food aversions and at the moment my diet isn't the best.
I found sucking on peppermint sweets (like polo mints) really eased the queasy feeling but then everyone is different.
Hope you feel better soon, it will be worth it in the end. That's what I keep saying!!

have you made an appointment with a doc yet? I was pretty sick my first couple of weeks but never vomited. You may have that condition hyperemisis gravidarum, and I believe they can prescribe you something for it. Are you able to keep anything down? I know it sounds horrible, trust me i know, but I found it easier on my stomach to keep something in it. I sort of forced myself to eat little things here and there, for a while all i could stomach was cheerios. Now my most serious bouts of nausea are in the morning, and I know its from my stomach staying empty all night. I always eat before bed but its never enough to keep me from being sick in the morning. Im so sorry you feel so bad, I know a little how you feel. I hope you start feeling better very soon!
