10 weeks pelvic rest

My Dr put me on 10 wks pelvic rest because my placenta is covering my cervical opening. So no sex for 10 wks then I get another ultrasound to see if it has opened up. The problem is my hormones have my sex drive in full gear and this is killing me! Has anyone else had this? Should I ask my Dr for an earlier ultrasound?

Hey just wanted to give you some hope, I'm 17 weeks 4 days I had where my placenta was covering my cervix and was put on bed rest for 6 weeks . Had my ultrasound today and it had moved :)

Thanks mine is the same. My doctor is going to give me an ultrasound in a few weeks to see if it has moved. Hopefully I won't have to go the full 10 weeks.

I will be 19 weeks tomorrow and I'm on pelvic rest until my dr tells me other wise.I'm not tripping because my desire has ling went out the window anyway.I have margila placenta previa so its on the edge of my cervix but not covering it.My doctor said it should start to migrate upwards so I'm praying it does.I wish you the best and make sure you take it easy!

Yes my first pregnancy I was newly married and had nothing but problems I was on bed rest and pelvic rest for 5/6 months and it stunk.
