I'm not having anymore ultrasounds either. I'd like to see him, but insurance doesn't cover them so my doctor doesn't do them. I've debated getting the 3D one just so I can see his face, but they are so expensive.

We haven't had one since the big 20 weeker.  I'm cool with that.  I'm terrified they'll accidentally show me the gender so I'll stay away.  :)

I haven't had one since the gender one either. I'm hoping for one more. Especially since everyone thinks I'm having a boy despite the dr saying it was a girl everyone is convinced! It's actually getting on my nerves I would love to get another one to confirm it's a girl again! And to get better pics since the ultrasound tech gave me some really ****** images of my baby!

I think it's normal.  unless there is something wrong or you go for a 3d you don't need any more.  there may be one closer to the end if they think baby may be breech.

With my last pregnancy, everything was fine at the 20 week one, they were pretty sure she was a girl and had a good view of everything growth-wise. This time, we had a low-lying placenta (borderline previa) and his head looked small compared to all his other growth markers, so we had a follow up last week to check. I don't expect another since thankfully, everything seems ok now!

I think they try and limit u/s's and anything else invasive if your pregnancy is low risk and everything looks good.  I'm high risk so I get a lot of them.  Unfortunately, the baby is facing downwards, so no good pictures.
