dialated..

I know this might be a stupid question but idk so maybe u guys can help me..if Ive only had one contraction nd it was a braxton hicks is it possible to be dialated ? Like without having contractions cuz I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow

As far as I know, contractions are how you dilate, so they go hand in hand. With that said, many women don't feel the early contractions, so its possible you could behaving them and not know it.

With my first I got to 2cm ,at 35 weeks without feeling anything.

But there's a possible chance I could be dialated nd not have contractions I mean I've had one but is that a possibility?

Your question is not stupid at all. Otherwise we would not need these forums.
Dilation is not a once off event but its a process that takes time which is also hormonally influenced.  My understanding is bh are practice uterus contractions that might be a bit uncomfortable but not painful. If they were responsible for dilation many pple would have lost their babies during 2 nd trimester coz that's when they start. You might be 36 weeks with bh without dilation. Your doctor will tell you if you are dilated or not.
