I plan to work to the very latest I might b allowed to work to my due date
I did that with my daughter....but this time i just haven't got the energy :( ....
awesome, good luck, luckily i don't work and haven't since 12 weeks prego due to early pregnancy complications and im a student in school, but a year off for maternity leave is AWESOME!
Oh I wish I could take a year off. That's so nice for you. I plan to work until I can't work anymore but I have a feeling I'll be part time for most if not all of May. I will go back to work when my older two are done with summer vacation the being of September.
I am ready to go on leave. I am exhausted but I'm sure I will work until April.
I work part time anyway. 3 days at work 3 days at university. As a part timer i will get paid 90% of my usual pay for 9 months :) so no need to get back to work early.
Natfox are u not able to get income support? Am part time at work too and gettin materity allowance for 26 weeks but am taken 52 weeks off work so will b able to apply for income support whn materity pay is up
Will be getting paid through work till December. Then will look into it...as i dont think i will be goin back to work. I am not coping well with full time uni kids and work lol
I won't be getting paid anything while on maternity leave :(
That's bad :( where do you live?
Yep. My hubby will be picking up a part time job aside from his full time job to make up for me being off work. I live in Minnesota, United States.
wow where do you live nat fox, here we only get paid maternity leave for -12 weeks unless unless we have std or ltd leave and take it for so many weeks.
I am in England UK. I think we are well looked after here :) i feel for you girls.....must be hard returning to work when your baby still tiny :(
It won't so bad because I work at a childcare and she'll be in my classroom until she's 6-8 months old and then she'll just be down the hall.
That the best job to have when you got small kids! :) x
Yano britain really do have it easy compare to other countries with our income support, child benefits etc, am allowed to apply for the 500 grant cause my wages r tht ****
wow thats awesome for you girls.
I plan on working for as long as I can, I'd.like to accumulate enuff time so.that I can get paid for at least 3 months out! But good for you!!!! I really wish I could stay out for that long but with pay lol
Over here we get a centerlink payment. Atm I'm getting around 350 Aussie dollars a fortnight and I've been getting that since my little one was born (he's now 17 months) and we also get an extra 300 a fortnight for the first six months after bub is born. They call it the baby bonus. Use to be a lump sum of 5000 but heaps of girls were getting pregnant just for rhe money. The amount you get is dependent on how much your partner is working. And I know if your a single mum you get A LOT more. It's still a struggle with the price of rent ect but I.love that I don't HAVE to go back to work. Mind you before i fell pregnant again I was doing some casual work for my own sanity. Lol :)
