Breastfeeding VS formula ?

okay so I know it might sound wrong to others but I really don't have this urge or even want to breastfeed. I want to let it dry up and eventually it stops producing milk I read online. Anyways what's others thoughts and opinions on this topic ? Because so many people say it's so much better to breastfeed and you should. Is it one of those thing were people judge you if your not doing the ideal thing?

My daughter is considered advanced at 18 months now. She's a formula baby. She's just as healthy, just as smart, and growing just right. With her weight, she's in the 30th percentile. With her height, she's in the 50th percentile. It's beneficial, but I had no urge to do it and I don't regret it. She's perfect.

If I can produce enough, I will definitely go for breastfeeding and only go to formula if baby isn't feeding enough and with professional advice. (That's how strongly I feel about breastfeeding). As a ftm and someone who prefers everything natural to manufactured/processed foods from bottles/tins, this is a no-brainer for me. With processed foods we have no idea what is in our food and that scares me, so if I can produce it and its on (a free) tap (lol), I'm all for it. Its up to the mother to decide, so do what you think is right, however, know that breastmilk has proven itself for centuries and you cannot go wrong with it whereas formula doesn't really give the impression that it can have nearly as many benefits as mothers milk.

Do what you feel like doing. Plenty of babies grow up healthy on formula. Don't worry about other people's oppions. If you decide to breastfeed they'll judge you by something else you do.
I HATE breastfeeding. I did it for my son and I am doing it again for this one. The idea of it makes me cringe. I do it for the health benefits to both the baby and me. Also, I can't afford formula. That stuff is EXPENSIVE!! Lol

It's your own personal decision. I'm so sick of people giving me their unwanted opinion on the subject. Some people get really into their breastfeeding.... Whatever feels right for you. That's what I'm going to do.
