how soon can you hear a heartbeat?

hi all I was wondering how soon you can hear a heartbeat in an ultrasound?I'm about six to seven weeks will they be able to see or hear a heartbeat?

Im 6 weeks and my doctor said it was very faint but it had a heartbeat.  :) yay!

I saw it haven't heard it yet I got a appointment on the 6th I hope to hear it then I will be 10 weeks

I heard my babys heart beat today im only 7 weeks

With my first I heard it at 8 weeks! Can't wait to hear my 2nd at my first appt :)
