Gaining too much weight?

Before I got pregnant, I was a petite thin girl. But since I got pregnant, I also quit smoking. And i have been gaining a ton of weight. My cravings much be intense. But the doctor said that I am gaining more weight than I should. Anyone else having this problem?!

My suggestion would be to ignore the scales and just enjoy your pregnancy. You have time to lose it when bubs comes and breast feeding helps lose weight. Its better to be eating healthy and giving your baby the best chance at life. Don't worry. Just go hard St the gym later if it worries you. That's what I'm doing ;)

Oh yeah, I've plugged my weight into the app too and it said "excessive weight gain" I felt beautiful and glowing until my doctor told me that I'm gaining too much weight, now I feel like a fat cow. It *****. I was completely comfortable with how I looked. :'(

Miriclemams is right...if you are craving sweets it means there is something missing from your diet. I have this great chart printed out about the different cravings and what it means we are missing from our diet and what to eat instead

Im right there with you! Ive always been small and I have gained more weight than recomended. It actually makes me self conscious when I plug  my weigh into this ap and it says "excesive weight gain". I also recently quit smoking and I think that adds to our hunger. I try to eat really healthy and eat alot of friut and veggies but its imposible to resist sweets and goodies. I think our bodies know what we need and if your craving sweets there must be a reason. Just be sure to keep up on ur blood tests, try to eat a ballanced diet, and dont let it get you down. No need to "diet" while pregnant. You're not alone. :-)

I am not having that issue with this pregnancy, but i ran into that issue with my first pregnancy. I was about 115 and gained 60 lbs. I got preeclampsia and never fully lost the weight
